Group homes in Barrington and Portsmouth provide a safe setting for people to begin their transition to living independently as they work on their recovery. The Tiverton group home provides residential treatment for older people with mental illness who also have medical issues often related to the aging process.

Mobile Treatment Team(click here for more info)
The Mobile Treatment Team brings services into the community to assist individuals with complex needs who are living independently. This multidisciplinary team provides an intensive level of support to assist people in coordinating a network of services to meet their goals.

Housing First Rhode Island (click here for more Info)
Riverwood Mental Health and the Mental Health Association of Rhode Island (MHARI) in 2006 formed a partnership to develop a Supportive Services Program to end long term homelessness in Rhode Island. The target population is adults 18 and over who are experiencing an extended or repeated pattern of homelessness and have health, psychiatric, or substance abuse issues that may impact their ability to function in housing.

Supportive Housing Program
Riverwood owns 14 apartments spread amongst 3 sites in Warren and Bristol which operate as permanent supportive housing. Residents are Riverwood clients who pay a subsidized rent based on 30% of their monthly income.
